FIELD: automatic control. SUBSTANCE: current amplitude ripple cycles in power transmission are recorded, their period and quantity are checked, minimum and maximum values of current amplitude in each cycle are measured, amplitude values of Im are measured in all cycles for each half-cycle starting from maximum value of Io, increments of ΔIm are calculated as difference between preceding and next values, ratio of minimum and maximum current amplitude values to its maximum value during initial cycle is found. Reference value is shaped as sum of desired fractions of α1 и α2 of Io and as Io and Im-1 difference, asynchronous mode is recorded if ΔIm does not exceed reference value in each ripple cycle.
