FIELD: electric engineering, devices for automatic liquidation of asynchronous modes. SUBSTANCE: device has starting and detecting units, detector of asynchronous mode, loop counter, output unit, unit which checks amplitude ratio and permits fixing asynchronous mode loop only when ratio of minimal current amplitude level to maximal level in this cycle is less than given value. In addition device has unit, which protects against short-circuits, which locks device in loops of multiple short circuits when absolute value of increment of current amplitude during half- period of its fall cycle is greater than given rate of maximal value of this amplitude in all oscillation cycle. Asynchronous mode detector compares states of detecting unit when starting unit actuates and returns to initial state, and it detects asynchronous mode when this states are not equal. EFFECT: increased selection capacity for prevention of fault operations when multiple short-circuits and deep synchronous oscillations occur, by means of detection of given shape asynchronous modes in first loop of oscillations. 2 cl, 4 dwg
