FIELD: electric heaters. SUBSTANCE: device has tube where heating spiral and chamber with thermal switch are mounted. Both ends of tube are covered with caps which are made from mica plastics. Space between chamber and tube ends is filled with insulating insertion. Thermal switch is made from fusible solder with flux. Method of manufacturing involves production of cap from mica plastics having inner diameter of tube before pressing. Then tube is pressed along its diameter until its inner diameter is equal to outer diameter of cylindrical part of chamber. EFFECT: increased functional capabilities. 2 cl, 2 dwg
