SANDSLINGER DEVICE Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

Abstract RU 2042470 C1

FIELD: foundry engineering. SUBSTANCE: sandslinger device has a body with working chamber, pneumatic-impulse head, discharging bin, guiding nozzle, two rotors placed one inside the other and their rotation axles are displaced regarding each other. Axles of rotors have common drive. Cylindrical slide valve with slotted inlets is constructed inside the body of pneumatic impulse head. In the case rotor drive shaft has cams opening and closing sliding valve. Allocation of slotted slide valve inside impulse head along its axis, i.e. along working chamber axis and guiding nozzle as well as presence of slide valve cone-shaped body in a channel result in reduction of compressed air energy losses and consequently compressed air. Cams mounted on auxiliary shaft of rotor common drive provide slide valve opening in the shortest required time that also helps save energy. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 4 cl, 2 dwg
