FIELD: remove of ammonia. SUBSTANCE: gaseous mixture which contains unreacted synthesis gas, ammonia and inert gases (presence of water being probable) is brought into contact with glycol. The process is carried out at pressure being equal to pressure during synthesis of ammonia. The process is followed by regeneration of absorbent which takes place in two or more steps at heating by desorption of ammonia. Then ammonia is condensed by cooling with water having temperature 5-35 C. Desorption of the main portion of ammonia takes place at the first step at pressure 7-20 bar, final step being carried out at 1-3 bar. Intermediate desorption takes place at 5-15 bar. After desorption at the final step ammonia is compressed and is returned at the first step of desorption. Desorption takes place at 100-150 C during heating. Secondary absorption of ammonia after its desorption desorped at final desorption step is possible, said process is followed by pumping absorption solution at the first desorption step. Pressure of ammonia stream being condensed after first step of desorption is relieved. Thus produced gaseous ammonia is combined with ammonia of final step of desorption, compressed and is then fed to the first step of desorption. EFFECT: improves efficiency of the method. 5 cl, 3 dwg
