FIELD: kilns for carbon blanks. SUBSTANCE: kiln consists of several chambers connected in succession, with or without upper cover. Each chamber has several cassettes whose walls are provided with vertical and/or horizontal passages for flue gases and system for discharge of flue gases from chamber through circular pipe line. Kiln is provided with additional circular pipe line mounted separately; each chamber is provided with heat recovery device made in form of cover, header or other similar device with hole or connecting pipe which may be closed to ensure discharge of air used for cooling the cassettes through branch pipe connecting the additional circular pipe line and recovery device on chamber.
