FIELD: oil industry. SUBSTANCE: petroleum residue is extracted with propane to obtain asphalt and deasphalted solution. The asphalted solution is conditioned in the separator under propane supercritical conditions. The interface between phases inside the separator is maintained at the level of 0.5-0.7 of the separator height. The regenerated propane is discharged from the top of the separator. The deasphalted phase is discharged from the bottom. After regeneration propane is returned to make extraction. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 1 tbl
