FIELD: petroleum processing.
SUBSTANCE: petroleum residue is extracted by light hydrocarbon solvents, after which solvent is recovered from asphalt-free oil solution in separator under supercritical conditions with regard to the solvent and from asphalt solution by flash vaporization followed by stripping the rests of solvent from asphalt-free oil and asphalt in steam-stripping columns. Gaseous portion of solvent from these columns is fed into jet compressor utilizing, as actuating fluid, solvent flow obtained in vaporizers when recovering solvent from asphalt and asphalt-free oil solutions followed by compressing and liquefying solvent in jet compressor utilizing, as actuating fluid, solvent flow withdrawn from separator. As a result, pressure in steam-stripping columns is reduced, so reducing consumption of steam in the asphalt and asphalt-free oil stripping stage, and ensures more stable working conditions for the compression system so allowing power consumption to be reduced throughout the process as a whole.
EFFECT: enhanced process efficiency.
