FIELD: production of oils and raw materials during catalytic cracking, particularly, petroleum refining industry. SUBSTANCE: petroleum residues are treated with propane, butane or mixtures thereof. Solvent is then regenerated from deasphaltizate and asphalt solutions. Solvent residues are steamed in stripping towers and gaseous part of solvent is subsequently compressed in jet compressor working body of which is some stream of liquid solvent fed into extraction column by pump out of liquid solvent container. EFFECT: simplified process flowsheet due to elimination of use of high-pressure pump operating at elevated pressure. 1 dwg
