FIELD: blast smelting of materials. SUBSTANCE: method involves melting materials containing nonferrous metals and hydrogen together with fluxes in blast furnace and providing oxygen blasting through two rows of tuyeres, with oxygen supplied through lower row of tuyeres being fed into slag-carbonaceous mass. Oxygen flow rate is maintained within the range of 600-1200 m3/t of hydrogen contained in material under process. EFFECT: increased efficiency in reprocessing materials. 1 tbl
