FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: method can be used for melting of sulphide copper materials on blister copper, including nickel-bearing. Method of continuous processing of copper including nickel-bearing sulphide materials includes oxidising fusion in furnace of sulphide material jointly with flux with receiving of blister copper, slag, concentrated by SO2 gases at specific consumption of oxygen in the range 150-240 nm3 per 1 ton of processing dry sulphide material. After melting it is implemented depletion of received slag. Slag depletion is implemented uninterruptedly on reducing stage in reducing zone of furnace at usage for it mixture of oxygen-containing gas and hydrocarbon fuel at discharge coefficient of oxygen (α) in the range from 0.5 up to 0.9.

EFFECT: increasing of direct extraction of copper into blister.
