FIELD: excavating. SUBSTANCE: working member has wedge-shaped body with built- in pneumatic cylinder, the piston of which is connected to weight block using a rod. Piston cavity of the pneumatic cylinder is communicated through return valve with gas receiver. The receiver is communicated with nozzles on the body surface through controllable pneumatic valve. When the working member is felt down, the body is interacted with soil and slowing down. Slide valve lowers and overlaps hydraulic lines used as communication between the receiver and nozzles, when the body slows down under action of weight inertia. Pneumatic cylinder piston lowers and pumps air in the receiver through return valve under inertia of weight block. On completion deepening and slowing down pneumatic slide valve is raised by a spring and brings the receiver and the nozzles into communication. Compressed air from the receiver enters through the nozzles on body surface in soil chip off area. EFFECT: increased chip off area, soil break of from solid mass. 1 dwg
