Abstract RU 2042790 C1

FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: device includes case with tangential branch pipes, air ducts and air blower with motor. Case consists of two halves joined by lock. Lock has on one half side smooth edge, and on the other half side, opposite to smooth edge, slot. Case may be round or oval with height of 8 to 15 m. Both halves are symmetrical and autonomous. Case has trough inside it to discharge condensate. Supplying branch pipe is located at the height of 2 m from ground surface and made in form of pocket with grating. Length of pipe of each air duct is 20 m. Air ducts and air blowers are mounted on plate installed on rollers. Both halves of case are moved and joined round the well by tractor. Flowing stream of oil or natural gas is enclosed by case. Air from air blower is fed through pipeline to supplying branch pipe and goes out through grating swirled on case sides. Oil or gas stream is diluted with air at the ground level. Flare becomes extinguished without use of traditional means for fire extinguishing due to dilution of flowing oil or gas with air.
