FIELD: fire suppression at oil and gas fields. SUBSTANCE: helicopter above burning gusher lowers down a device having triangular frame which carries vessel connected by pipe union with overshot which is located underneath. Provided around it for safety reason is clamping housing with funnel in its lower part. Accommodated in funnel is ring- shaped vessel filled with liquid nitrogen and provided with meltable safety plugs which at certain temperature melt off and suppress gusher fire. Simultaneously pressed into well tube is overshot using winches which are connected with frame by ropes, and by means of vessel which is filled with liquid due to gusher pressure. Overshot is pressed down to determined place for installation of gusher fitting and well starts gushing. Device has overshot with tube and gate valve. Located around it is housing with internal funnel. Hood at inner side has trough with branch spout, triangular frame and located on its end are ropes and bobs. Vessel mounted on frame is provided with shackles for catching by helicopter slings. EFFECT: high efficiency. 2 cl, 2 dwg
