FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: method for mining steeply dipping and inclined coal seams includes development operations by long-pillar system to the strike with coal strip winning to the top. Coal is won in strip by benches with application of drilling and blasting operations from raises. Coal winning in benches is carried out with leading the benches which are close to strip caved part; erected in the last raise of the strip (adjacent to newly developed strip) is cutting-off support. Strip width is determined empirically depending on breaking of coal by drilling and blasting. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 4 dwg
