FIELD: building materials.

SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to the industry of building materials and is intended for the production of plastic molded ceramic products by extrusion. The screw press contains a housing with an internal channel, a screw placed on a drive shaft inside the channel, a paddle knife and forming disks. The press is equipped with additional one or more bladed knives mounted on the drive shaft with each subsequent knife offset relative to the previous one by an angle that is half the angle between the blades of the knife. The area covered by the blades of each knife is from 70 to 90% of the channel section. Forming discs cover no more than 20% of the channel section and are installed behind each of the knives in the direction of material movement. Forming discs are provided with a central hole and are mounted in the housing for movement along the axis of the drive shaft. Forming discs are made in the form of outer and inner annular shells connected by radial partitions. The knives are made with three blades. The cross section of the blade is a symmetrical figure, preferably a parallelogram. The angle of inclination of the blade to the plane of the forming disk is from 15 to 20°. The drive shaft is hexagonal.

EFFECT: improving the quality of ceramic products by preventing the formation of striae and creating in the ceramic mass a structure of increased density that is homogeneous over the entire cross section of the molded bar.
