FIELD: ultrasonic inspection. SUBSTANCE: acoustic receiving-radiating system is manufactured in the form of N acoustic units composed of M integrated receiving-radiating piezoconverters connected in parallel through commutator to generator of excitation pulses. Each piezoconverter is linked to proper channel of receiving-amplifying unit. In each unit piezoconverters are mounted on body so that points of output of their acoustic axes are arranged over circumference. Axes proper cross in one point which is acoustic focus of corresponding unit. Converters are equally distant from focus of this unit. Focuses of acoustic units are evenly located over another circumference which plane is perpendicular to plane of first circumference. EFFECT: enhanced authenticity of inspection by detection of differently oriented cracks in each point of examined pipe-line. 4 dwg
