FIELD: optical instrument engineering. SUBSTANCE: two-sided light guide communication system has single light source 1 at one end of light guide 3. Reflecting modulator 2 is disposed at the other end of the light guide. Modulator 2 is formed by integral-optic Fabi-Perrot resonator which is controlled electrically. Strip light guide 6 of the resonator is connected with two semitransparent mirrors 9, 8. Control electrodes 4 of the resonator are energized by signal transmitted. Electro-optic converter 5 is disposed behind the semitransparent mirror The electro-optic converter is energized from strip light guide 6 by light signal received.
