FIELD: petroleum industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves mixing water glass solution and acidified aluminium sulfate followed by addition of zeolite aqueous suspension. Prepared gel is dried, washed with distilled water. Then hydrogel is activated for two stages: firstly, with solution of rare-earth nitrate mixture at concentration 1.5-4.5 g/l at 30-55 C, then with ammonium nitrate solution at concentration 10-20 g/l, and activated hydrogel is washed with water. Hydrogel is ground in mortar with water, and phosphoric acid is added to the prepared suspension at intensive stirring. Prepared mass is dried in spraying dryer, prepared microspheres were calcined. Catalyst properties: content, wt.-% aluminium oxide 20.5; silicon dioxide 73.7; phosphorus pentoxide 2.5; sodium oxide 0.3; rare-earth elements 3.0; zeolite 15; activity is 48.7-49.0% caked value is 1.25-1.27% EFFECT: improved method of catalyst preparing. 2 tbl
