FIELD: shipbuilding. SUBSTANCE: tank located below level of waves is provided with transverse platforms in top above-water surface of hollow streamlined pillars. These platforms are used to hold self-contained vessel secured by means of detachable lock joints. Tank is provided with lateral shoulders whose recesses formed by vertical walls receive plate-type reduction gears of propellers; external axle of blades of each propeller is rotatably connected with disk whose axle is fitted on bearing in the protective casing recess; double reversing clutch which connects transverse power takeoff shafts is additionally provided with spring-loaded splined joint fitted inside it, movable twin fork fitted with hold-down side eccentrics being mounted outside. Axles of bevel gears of fore propellers are linked with transverse shaft by means of non-reversible clutches. Tanker is provided with two inclined swinging ice-breaking segments in its fore portion for cruising in Arctic regions. EFFECT: safe and comfortable cruising in semi-submerged vessel. 4 cl, 8 dwg
