FIELD: shipbuilding; design of float-type tugs with wind plants. SUBSTANCE: tug has above-water platform with wind plants, vertical load-bearing struts with floats and marine engines located under above-water platform and connected with propellers. Struts carry movable carriages held by hoisting loop ropes and guide rollers. Each movable carriage is connected with cubical support by means of swivel cantilever and pantograph strainer. Cubical support is mounted on respective float and is spring-located relative to it. Tug is provided with additional rear vertical load-bearing struts. Front and rear struts are provided with flaps. Engines are located in area of rear vertical load-bearing struts. They are connected with propellers by means of friction clutches and upper and lower bevel gears of satellite shafts. Upper bevel gears are kinematically interconnected by means of transverse shaft with reversible clutches and bevel gears for operation of all propellers from one engine. Besides, front and rear struts are connected in their lower portions by means of flat transverse strips; each strip is provided with at least two remotely-operated lock-on connections.
