FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: device and respective process for reinforcing woven and knitted materials by means of dynamic effect of liquids which entangles threads of fabric and leads to their fading. Use is made of two-stage process of reinforcement in which top and bottom sides of fabric are correspondingly retained by elements and subjected to dynamic effect of liquid curtain including high-pressure jets. Under conditions of controlled process and use of supporting elements having open zones which are set up in assigned position with respect to line of process conduction, fabrics are produced which have uniform finish and improved characteristics including wear of edges, use them as drapery, higher stability, resistance to attrition, optimal weight and thickness.
