FIELD: heat engineering. SUBSTANCE: water cooler has reservoir 1 connected with water discharging branch pipe 2. Water discharging branch pipe 3 passes under the bottom of the reservoir and is connected with central fixed stand 4. All of the surface of reservoir 1 is covered with a spray protecting arrangement made up as fixed disk 12 secured to stand 4 by way of cantilevers 13 to define space 18 between the edge of disk 12 and wall of reservoir 1. Face of stand 4 is provided with dispensing head 5 which can rotate and is connected with a heat exchanging device made up as vertical sets of flat hollow blades 9 which are interconnected in series. The stand is also provided with dispensing pipe 6 arranged bellow and connected to the stand through C-shaped branch pipes. Top blades 9 are immediately connected to stand 4, and each blade is inclined at an acute angle to the horizon. Blades 9 of adjacent sets have opposite inclination. The spray protecting arrangement made up as disk 12 is secured to stand 4 at the top level of reservoir 1 via cantilevers 13 to define ring spaces with respect to its walls wherein two bottom C-shaped branch pipes 10 move when the heat exchanger rotates. Two diametrical dispensing pipes 6 underlie disk 12, one end of the pipes being connected with C-shaped branch pipe 10, and the other end being plugged with flange 17 secured to rotation clutch 14. Dispensing pipes 6 are provided with uniformly arranged jet nozzles which point in opposite directions. Hollow blades 9 are provided with lateral baffles mounted to define labyrinth passageways.
