FIELD: pressure forming of sheet materials. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of placing one or two metallic sheets from superductile material on a press-plate, having a hand surface with dents, alternating with cavities; reducing the sheet by its thickness in a range from several percentage parts up to 10% at simultaneous heating of the sheet until occurrence of superplastic deformations; loading the sheet from inside by a pressure for upsetting it on its places, corresponding to cavities of the press-plate. The surface of the press-plates, restricting the cavities, may be in the form of polygons. The molded sheets may be bonded by diffusion along their band surfaces, before diffusion bonding of the sheet they are being provided by means for joining them with a source of pressurized gas. Upon forming the sheets along their band surfaces and along their peripheries cells are being formed to be loaded by the gas pressure for their further expansion. Such method may be used for making structures of a streamlined body with three dimensional curvature. In order to perform that, the sheet blank is being placed between press-molds with working surfaces, having curvature in a plane of the blank, at temperature of superplastic deformations. The cellular structure, had been made by such method, includes two metallic sheets, joined together along their band surfaces with formation of cells, mutually connected by ducts, restricted by deformed portions of the band surface of the sheets. The cellular structure is provided by means for joining it with the source of high pressure. The cellular structure may have three dimensional curvature and it may be placed in additional constructional members. EFFECT: simplification of method of making of cellular structure. 26 cl, 12 dwg
