FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: method of the metal working in the process of continuous casting includes the metal feed from the vacuum chamber into the intermediate ladle with the aid of an additional branch pipe. After the metal level rises in the intermediate ladle above the lower face ends of the branch pipes and the vacuum chamber is encapsulated with the molten metal, the circulation degassing of the metal being in the intermediate ladle is exercised by means of feeding the inert gas into one of the branch pipes. After the preset differential pressure is created in the vacuum chamber, the metal working in it is fulfilled simultaneously with the circulation degassing in the intermediate ladle. The metal volume in the intermediate ladle is divided into three zones: the middle one and two ones on the ends. The circulation degassing is carried out in the middle zone. The ratio of the metal volumes in the rim zones to the middle one is established as the relationship (1.8-2.2):1:(1.8-2.2). EFFECT: enhanced quality of the metal working. 1 dwg, 1 tbl
