FIELD: electrochemistry. SUBSTANCE: refining metal alloys includes cyclic electrolysis in electrolyte solution supplying anode and cathode with preset magnitude of direct currency, keeping the magnitude up to achieving preset difference in potentials with subsequent switching over the current direction into reverse one, and setting magnitude of current corresponding to gas release from electrolyte solution. When change rate of potential difference between anode and cathode achieves a proper value, the magnitude of reverse current is decreased to the level of solution potential of electronegative impurities, then when cathode layer achieves a proper thickness direction of the current is switched over into direct one, and the cycles are repeated until anode dissolves completely. EFFECT: high efficiency. 2 dwg
