FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method includes electrolysis in a melt of salts halogenides using a liquid-metal cathode and an anode out of black lead. Wherein the electrolysis is performed using a ceramic diaphragm impregnated by the melt of salts halogenides, the diaphragm is manufactured by plasma spraying of emery powder with the volume porosity of 30% maximum, permeated for the melted salt electrolyte and impermeable for the escaped cathode lead. The electrolysis is performed at the same cathode and anode current densities from 0.5 to 1.5 A/cm2 and a temperature of 450-500°C.
EFFECT: reduced specific power consumption keeping the degree of cleanness of black lead from admixtures, and stable operation under the processing mode.
