FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: method for electrolyte purification includes supply of regenerated electrolyte and an acid solution into appropriate chambers and carrying-out electrolytic extraction of the base metal and then of the accessory metals having larger electric negative potential of isolation than that of the base metal. The device includes mounted in series a cathode chamber complete with a cathode made in the form of a transporter having continuous electric conductive surface; purification chambers complete with concentration and liquid level transducers; anode chamber complete with an anode separated with an anion exchange membrane from a passage chamber divided from the purification chamber by a solid partition. A bipolar electrode made in the form of a transporter having continuous electric conductive surface, a direct current source, and a closed-loop pipeline complete with valves are mounted between the purification and the passage chambers. EFFECT: enabled recovery of metals having higher isolation potential than that of the base metal; recovery of accessory metal in the form of a finished product, such as powder or foil. 2 cl, 1 dwg
