FIELD: removing snow-ice covers from roads. SUBSTANCE: after spilling anti-glaze compound over surface of snow-ice cover it is distributed inside snow-ice cover at the depth of road surface. Cover melting performs on the side of road. Granules produces by pressing and subsequent crushing mixture of sodium and potassium chlorides are used as anti-glaze compound. "Kama" anti-glaze compound is made in the form of granules with following relations between components (by weight per cent): 45 75 potassium chloride, 24 50 sodium chloride, 1 5 crystallization water and inert impurities. Granules are of 0.1 to 10 mm size. Optimum range of pressing pressure is presented. EFFECT: increased efficiency in removing snow- ice cover on roads at the expense of melting the cover on the side of road under conditions of large thickness of snow-ice cover and low temperatures of air, with "Kama" compound in the form of granulated mixture of potassium and sodium chlorides providing realization of the method with concurrent decreased dust generation, improved keeping in non-specialized in-door conditions, decreased influence on shoes and ecology. 5 cl
