FIELD: heat-power engineering. SUBSTANCE: thermal unit has combustion engine 7 and oxidizer preparation unit 2 and fuel preparation and supply unit connected to combustion chamber by means of pipe lines. Thermal unit is also provided with steam generation system, flue gas heat recovery unit, smoke stack 9, heat exchanger 35 and sea water supply pump 42. Heat exchanger 35 has heating surface and heating chamber having inlet and two outlets in liquid and gas zones, respectively; inlet is brought in communication with hydrogen sulfide layer of sea water through suction pipe line. Outlet in liquid zone is brought in communication with layer of sea water whose content of hydrogen sulfide does not exceed its concentration in water discharged from heat exchanger. Connection is made with the aid of outlet pipe line. Outlet of gas zone is connected to pipe line 5 which connects the fuel preparation and supply system with combustion chamber 7. Heating surface is connected to steam generation system; sea water supply pump 42 is mounted in suction pipe line 37. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 1 dwg
