FIELD: mechanical engineering; engines.

SUBSTANCE: proposed engine consists of piston engine connected by mechanical or hydrodynamic system with expansion machine where to steam from steam accumulator is delivered. Steam in steam generator is produced owing to recovery of heat of combustion products, cooling liquid and oil is accumulated in steam accumulator. Water to be delivered into steam generator is separated from combustion products in condenser owing to cooling of combustion products by cold water and raising of pressure in condenser by exhaust gas charge which is set into operation of piston engine through mechanical or hydraulic system electrically connected with control panel. Combustion products cooled and compressed in condenser operate in gas-expansion machine which drives electric generator through mechanical or hydrodynamic system connected with control panel. Water drops are separated from combustion products in water separator owing to their cooling in gas-expansion machine at expanding. Condensate formed in condenser and water separator is accumulated in hot and cold water accumulators, respectively. Cooling liquid and oil are heated or cooled by water in hot water accumulator, depending on their temperature. Air is delivered into piston engine through contact-surface air cooler by compressor which is connected with piston engine of gas-expansion machine through mechanical or hydrodynamic system electrically connected with control panel. Control panel provides warming, starting and control of engine and regulates excess air coefficient close to unity, water vapors condensing temperature in condenser, maximum gas temperature in cylinders, temperature of air delivered into piston engine and other parameters.

EFFECT: reduced consumption of fuel, increased engine power output, cut down exhaust of toxic matter into atmosphere, improved stability of engine operation at all duties.
