FIELD: heat power engineering. SUBSTANCE: for implementing proposed method, air is cleaned, heated or cooled in surface water-to-air heat exchanger, then is compressed in compressor with injection of water and is fed into combustion chamber whereto fuel is fed and water is injected. Combustion products are expanded in turbine with generation of electric energy and then are directed into afterburning chamber. Combustion products, thus formed, are directed successively into water economizer or steam ducts, thus formed, are directed successively into water economizer or steam generator, surface or direct-contact surface condenser, surface gas-to-water heat exchanger, noise silencer and smoke stack. Design peculiarity of proposed plant is that it is furnished with heat accumulator divided into hot and cold parts, water economizer or steam generator being connected with hot part of heat accumulator, and surface or direct-contact surface condenser being connected both with hot and with cold part of heat accumulator, and dryer is connected with cold part of heat accumulator. Invention makes it possible to increase power output 2-2.5 times, increase efficiency to 0.6-0.7, and fuel utilization factor to 0.85-0.90 and to reduce amount of harmful effluents 3 - 3 times.
