FIELD: medical engineering, in particular devices used in orthopedics and traumatology. SUBSTANCE: this device includes shoulder jacket 1 and lumbar jacket 2 interconnected by perforated connecting rods 3 and 4 telescopically positioned in one another. Rod 3 is fixedly secured in lumbar jacket 2. Shoulder jacket 1 has two screws 14 disposed along axis of symmetry of vertebral column. Screws 14 carry transverse beams 16 secured in position by butterfly nuts 17. Transverse beams carry couplings 19 into which are fitted rods 4. Lumbar jacket 2 and shoulder jacket 1 are to be securely positioned on patient's body. Transverse beams 16 and couplings 19 are to be set on screws 14. Rods 3 and 4 must be firmly secured in lumbar jacket. Couplings 19 must be adjusted for patient's height and attached to one another by pins to be inserted into perforations. Tightening butterfly nuts 17 makes transverse beam 16 squeeze rods 3 and 4 to lower lumbar jacket 2, enable shoulder jacket 1 to move upwards, extend and finally reliably secure vertebral column in desired position. EFFECT: more sophisticated design. 3 dwg
