COUNTERCURRENT STRING GAS AND LIQUID DISTRIBUTOR Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: distributors of gas and liquid in mass-exchanging strings. SUBSTANCE: in distributor of gas and liquid of anticurrent string there are small tubes for liquid, outputs of which are mounted close to located below part of string. To guide and direct upward going gas at least 10 small tubes per one square meter of area of one distributor are provided. Total cross-section of stream from the tubes is maximum 10 of distributor's bottom area. Stream cross-section in tubes is once more narrowed in respect to their comparatively narrow inlet cross-section. Gas outlets are located near upper section and are made correspondingly of several small outlet holes, situated as a crown around a tube, or as small tubes or as ring-type slit. Due to it uniform pressure of gas is achieved, gas and liquid during their flowing through interval between areas are passing it mainly separately. In the case comparatively high speed of gas flow is achieved. The significant separation of their ways of flowing improves stability of gas and liquid streams especially in anticurrent strings with parameters of stream Φ exceeding 0.1 in anticurrent string.
