FIELD: chemical industry; petroleum chemistry; decomposition of gas mixtures, distillation in particular; mass- and heat-exchange processes; chemical reactions. SUBSTANCE: deflector 1 for deflectable jet 10 makes it possible to deflect liquid 3 after its escape from reservoir 2 to target 5,7 located under reservoir. Deflection is effected by means of molded plate 10, 10a, 10b which is located before outlet hole 20 of reservoir deforming and directing jet 30 for feeding liquid at lower end 17 of molded plate o target. Near outlet hole 20 where liquid jet 30 gets on molded plate 10 of material, first section 11 and second section 12 of plate form zone 13 of mouth where first section 11 deflects liquid 3 relative to vertical transversely and second section 12 performs function of splash guard. First section changes to passage 14 where liquid is directed downward. Wall of second section separates passage from mouth zone. Deflector may consists of several molded plates of material in modified form. Proposed deflector ensures large section for passage of gas excluding splashes which may be entrapped by gas flow.
