FIELD: forest industry. SUBSTANCE: cross-cutting machine has a tool carrier with arrow 1, beams 9 and 10 extensible relative to the arrow, a sawing mechanism and a drive for the beam separation in the form of hydraulic cylinders 11 and 13. The machine is equipped with a rotary axis set up on the arrow end, with additional sawing mechanisms which, like the main one, are made in the form of disk saws 6 power-driven from hydraulic motors 7 and with forks having U-shaped beams. A disk saw with hydraulic motor 7 is fastened on one end of each beam. The other end of the beam is made as checking device 8. The forks are made for sliding and turning relative to the axis and the U-shaped beams are mounted on the shaft for sliding. The forks located on one side from the arrow are hinged with it by means of extensible beams 9 and 10 which are made telescopic and are connected in one group by its ends from the arrow side.
