FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: pneumatic suspension has flexible shell. One end of the shell is joint to spring-loaded section of a vehicle by means of a flange and a ring. The other end of a shell is coupled with a hollow piston. Piston is coupled with non-spring-loaded section of a vehicle. Shock absorber constructed as a truncated cone is fixed to piston surface which represents a truncated cone side. Cone has one hole in the center and more than one holes of different diameter on its surface. Holes join cavities of a shell and a piston. Ring and piston mounting seats for flexible shell have a slope. Sloping angle is equal to a sloping angle of respective mounting seats for flexible shell. Shock absorber outer surface slope varies from 44 to 46 deg, piston cone slope varies from 80 to 85 deg, mounting seats slope varies from 1 to 2 deg. Piston is made up of steel containing vanadium and nitrogen in proportion from 3:1 to 4:1. EFFECT: improved design. 2 cl, 1 dwg
