SUBSTANCE: method of production of flat glass-crystal pieces of silicate melt provides for simultaneous moulding and crystallization in one temperature zone on melted material with protecting melted layer. In the case, special gravity of protecting layer is less than special gravity of silicate melt and melted material by 1.01-1.5 and 1.3-6 fold and temperature of protection layer flowing is less than melting temperature of melted material and temperature of crystallization of silicate melt correspondingly by 1.01-1.5 and 1.01-1.2 fold.
