FIELD: manufacture of building materials and consumer goods, mainly, vitrocrystalline ones; applicable in production of vitrocrystalline materials and stone castings with glossy fire-polished surface and higher chemical stability. SUBSTANCE: mixture consists of aegirite concentrate in the amount of 20-50%, metallurgical slags, broken glass, mining wastes, etc, the balance. Ground mixture components are placed into mixer and directed to melting furnace where mixture is heated by means of air plasma with temperature of 3000-4000 C and heating rate of 200-1000 C/h to temperature of 1200-1400 C. Glass mass is cast into molds where crystallization and annealing are effected. Invention allows production of chemically stable vibrocrystalline facing materials from slags, silicate wastes and aegirite concentrate. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 tbl
