FIELD: ceramics. SUBSTANCE: during preliminary alumina milling the following surface-active substances were added together or separately, wt.-% polyvinyl alcohol 0.01-0.05, and glycerol 0-0.1. Method provides decrease of grinding bodies milling material, narrowing interval of particle distribution by sizes, decrease alumina aggregation after milling and decrease of caking temperature. Ceramic material can be used for producing metallized ceramic body of microcircuits and basis of solid-body electric indicator devices. EFFECT: improved method of preparing, enhanced quality of material. 2 tbl
