FIELD: test technique. SUBSTANCE: drive 34 sets in opposing movement sliders 32 and 33. Slider 32 drives frame 8 which compresses spring 12 and loads specimen 6 by axial compression. In reverse motion of slider 32, frame 8 is held in position by electromagnetic retainer 22 and specimen 6 still takes load. When slider 32 actuates switch 18, frame 8 is released from retainer 22 and impacts axial shock to specimen 7 under the action of spring 12 while specimen 6 is unloaded. During loading of specimens 6 and 7 and their unloading, slider 33 runs idle. Then slider 32 runs idle and slider 33, together with retainer 23, displaces frame 8 in the same manner. Spring 13 first loads specimen 6 through lever 14 with axial stretching and then through lever 15 it impacts axial shock to specimen 7. EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities due to testing both at nonalternating and alternating loading. 1 dwg
