FIELD: analytical instrumentation engineering; meteorological measurements of air humidity. SUBSTANCE: hygrometer has hygroscopic salt and its strong solution placed in vessel with solution drain duct, metering device, and sorption manifold inbetween. Inlet hole of duct is above salt level mark in vessel; strong salt solution feed controller is installed in solution drain duct. EFFECT: provision for making measurements with single error throughout entire working range of hygrometer; improved measurement accuracy, reduced warm-up period of instrument, reduced consumption of hygroscopic salt. 1 dwg, 1 tbl
