FIELD: investigation of thermal state of materials and processes in metallurgical, chemical-engineering, petrochemical and other industries. SUBSTANCE: thermal probe for measuring temperature of medium in process unit with lining has thermocouple 1, electrodes 2, protective sleeve 3 filled with electric insulating material 4 with low heat conduction, heat absorbing bottom 5 and gap 6 (putty, air, contact layer). Probe diameter and thermal characteristics of materials used in probe design are so adjusted as to ensure minimum error in measurement of temperature. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 dwg
