FIELD: measurement technology, uninterrupted measurement and recording of temperature of outer surface of tubes. SUBSTANCE: temperature transmitter includes base, sensitive element, case with cover, cable lead-out and cassette in the form of hollow stepped cylinder. Cassette has two vertical through holes inside which sensitive elements are positioned. Sensitive element comprises core with wire temperature-sensitive resistor, protective enclosure in the form of tube, members for attachment and fixing current leads and electric wires. Core has shape of stepped cylinder with pin on end and annular groove with formation of thin protrusion. Core is fabricated from high thermal conductivity material and is covered with thin insulation layer. EFFECT: increased accuracy of measurement and recording of temperature of outer surface of tube, enhanced operational reliability of temperature transmitter and prolonged service life of it. 23 cl, 4 dwg
