FIELD: seismic exploration. SUBSTANCE: low-frequency electromagnetic radiation is recorded from board spacecraft, sections of underlying Earth surface are additionally scanned at moment of growth of background level intensity in X-ray range of spectrum at energy of 2-25 keV, and point of earthquake is located by intensity of radiation exceeding background value by at least 20 standard deviations.
