METHOD FOR PREPARATION AND STORAGE OF ENSILAGE FODDER Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC A23K30/10 A23K10/30

Abstract RU 2625480 C1

FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: method of preparation and storage of ensilage fodder comprises grinding the green mass of plants, laying in soft containers made of airtight film, pre-installed in transport bags with devices for gripping by lifting mechanisms, sealing and compacting by vacuumizing up to 60÷70 kPa and to the green mass density of 700÷800 kg/m3 with the accompanying drainage of the resulting juice. Thereinafter the mass is ensilaged and stored until the moment of feeding. For loading the green mass of plants prepared for ensilaging in containers, cassettes with rigid (hard) walls with a section in the form of a square or a rectangle are first manufactured for the more complete filling of the storage. Transport bags are installed in the containers, and soft containers into the bags, which before laying the ensilage mass are pumped with air for straightening. The mass to be ensilaged is vacuumized and ensilaged. The silage transportation to the place for feeding animals is carried out in airtightly sealed vacuumized containers with silage, packed in the transport bags. The containers are opened directly at the place for feeding animals. The invention implementation allows to completely preserve the silage, to feed the animals with fresh fodder daily, which leads to the increase in the production efficiency of animal products.

EFFECT: use of a cassette with rigid walls and a bottom allows to preserve the shape of a square or a rectangle in the cross section of the loose ground green mass contained in the container and in the transport bag, which allows storing the transport bags in tiers and significantly reducing the silo volume.
