SUBSTANCE: device comprises a trench dug in the ground, in which the bottom and the side walls are insulated from external influences with a polyethylene film, the zigzag-shaped perforated pipes are arranged on top of the polyethylene film with a bias toward the juice collector and fluidly connected to it with one end. The juice collector is made in the form of a ring and laid on the bottom of the trench over the film, an imperforated tube is extended from it above the bottom of the trench, provided with a manometer, a stop cock and a pump placed at a height of 0.2-0.3 m from the bottom of the trench and connected to the mounting unit with a pressure tube for emptying the juice collector of juice. The zigzag-shaped perforated pipes located above the level of juice produced in the green fodder in the process of lactic acid fermentation, are interconnected by a collector, the free end of which is removed from the trench above the level of the ground and provided with a manometer, a valve and a pipe for connection of the pump. The zigzag-shaped pipes are made of plastic material of prefabricated structure. At that the device is provided with a polyethylene film covering the green fodder from above, which is hermetically bonded to a film insulating the bottom and sidewalls of the trench against external influences, after which a metal grid is placed on it, which has a mesh size of 5×5 cm, and mineral soil.

EFFECT: reduction of losses of green mass and increase in nutritional value of silage during its production and storage.
