SUBSTANCE: as compared to prototype, proposed accelerometer has flexible hanger 2 made of nonconducting material possessing low hysteresis, such as of quarts; flexible hanger surface is free from deposited metal coating; torque sensor coils 4 are connected to output of amplifier-discriminator 8 mounted on pendulum 2; input of amplifier-discriminator 8 is connected through capacitive coupling to out of a.c. amplifier 9 whose input is connected to differential capacitive position detector.
