FIELD: electrical engineering; thermoelectric single-action closer for heavy-current circuits. SUBSTANCE: introduced into device is electric heating element which embraces power electrodes and movable contact whose surfaces are coated with fusible alloy. Use is made also of pretensioned compressed spring secured in movable contact space. Spring is twisted around its axis. Contacting surface of movable contact is riffled, and movable contact proper is placed in space of one of power electrodes. Twisting of spring around its axis imparts rotation to movable contact which provides breaking of oxide films formed on surface of fusible alloy of opposite power electrode. EFFECT: enhanced reliability owing to decrease in contact resistance of switch is closed state, and quick response. 2 cl, 1 dwg
