FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and bypass switches in a battery of a spacecraft for battery failure accommodation by arrangement of a bypass circuit in the battery. In the bypass switch of a lithium-ion rechargeable battery for a spacecraft, consisting of a body with fixed contacts located therein and a movable annular spring contact located inside the fixed contacts, a control mechanism with a working spring, a control mechanism is located inside the movable contact. Low-melting alloy is used to connect the movable and fixed contacts, a group of three contacts, which disconnects the supply of voltage to the winding of the control mechanism after being triggered, is introduced. Bypass switch has a lid.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is the increased reliability, no-failure operation and reduced transition resistance of the contacts of the bypass switch.
